To be a translator

Recently, I have a thought to be a translator.
Translators can work anytime at any place, they don't have to go to work on time.
and they don't have to info boss if they want to have a day-off.
There is no requirement of listening and talking English abilities of them.
I think this kind of job is suitable for my characteristics.
So I translate articles of "History of Today" for training my translation ability and forcing me to learn English everyday.
If you have any comment about the translation, welcome to let me know.
Of course, to be a translator, although you don't need to talk and listen English,
the both abilities are still important for you to enter this occupation.
First, You must have a high-score TOEFL grade.
The publisher will find someone who has great TOEFL grade to translate the English book or article.
